  • Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) - Founded in 1982, the AIAG is a not-for-profit trade association of more than 1,600 automotive and truck manufacturers and their suppliers. AIAG's purpose is to provide an open forum where members cooperate in developing and promoting solutions that enhance the prosperity of the automotive industry. Its focus is to continuously improve business processes and practices involving trading partners throughout the supply chain.
  • Automotive Test Report - Automotive Test Report is published ten times per year and covers all aspects of automotive testing including electronics test, mechanical test, materials test, durability test, and system test.

  • Institute of Printed Circuits (IPC) - Accepted worldwide as the key manufacturing standards for the printed board and electronics manufacturing industries, IPC standards are associated with nearly every stage of the electronic product development cycle. From design and purchasing to assembly and packaging, IPC standards help ensure superior quality, reliability and consistency in the electronics assemblies that go into an electronic product. Annually, IPC publishes dozens of new and updated standards in areas from printed board design and intellectual property protection through box build. Today, IPC’s collection of industry standards and guidelines exceed 300 “active” standards and its resource library contains more than 1,000 standards.
  • International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) - The IEC is the leading global organization that publishes consensus-based International Standards and manages conformity assessment systems for electric and electronic products, systems and services, collectively known as electrotechnology. IEC publications serve as a basis for national standardization and as references when drafting international tenders and contracts. International Standards are widely adopted at the regional or national level and are applied by manufacturers, trade organizations, purchasers, consumers, testing laboratories, governments, regulators and other interested parties. The IEC develops International Standards for all electrical, electronic and related technologies.
  • The International Federation of Automotive Engineering Societies (FISITA) - FISITA is an independent world body representing over 158,000 automotive engineers through its membership of national automotive societies in 32 countries.  FISITA's mission is to help create efficient, affordable, safe and sustainable automotive transportation.  By providing a global forum involving engineering together with representatives from industry, government, academia, and standardization bodies, FISITA provides the linkage to encourage everyone involved with automotive transportation to work toward this mission.
  • International Organization for Standardization (ISO) - The ISO story began in 1946 when delegates from 25 countries met at the Institute of Civil Engineers in London and decided to create a new international organization ‘to facilitate the international coordination and unification of industrial standards’. On 23 February 1947 the new organization, ISO, officially began operations. Since then, ISO has published over 22677 International Standards covering almost all aspects of technology and manufacturing. Today ISO has members from 164 countries and 783 technical committees and subcommittees to take care of standards development. More than 135 people work full time for ISO’s Central Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland.
  • JEDEC Solid State Technology Association * - The semiconductor engineering standardization body of the Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA). JEDEC develops standards and guidelines through its 48 Committees/Subcommittees.  About 300 member companies representing every segment of the industry actively participate on these committees to develop standards to meet the industry and user needs.  All these standards can be freely downloaded.

  • MIL-STD-202 Test Method Standard, Electronic and Electrical Component Parts * - This standard establishes uniform methods for testing electronic and electrical component parts, including basic environmental tests to determine resistance to deleterious effects of natural elements and conditions surrounding military operations, and physical and electrical tests.   • Reliability Information Analysis Center (RIAC) - The "Reliability Information Analysis Center" replaced the old Reliability Analysis Center (RAC). In June 2005, the Reliability Analysis Center contract was awarded as the Reliability Information Analysis Center and transitioned to a new contractor team led by Wyle Laboratories that includes Quanterion Solutions Incorporated, the Center for Risk and Reliability at the University of Maryland, the Penn Stated Applied Research Laboratory and the State University of New York Institute of Technology.

  • System Reliability Center (SRC) - The System Reliability Center (SRC), an Alion Science and Technology Center of Excellence, operated the Reliability Analysis Center (RAC) for more than 35 years. SRC has now become a commercial entity, serving as a Center of Excellence and technical focal point for information, data, analysis, training and technical assistance in the engineering fields of Reliability, Maintainability, Supportability, and Quality (RMSQ).
  • UL Standards - UL Standards encompass UL's extensive safety research and scientific expertise. With over a century of experience in the development of more than 1,500 Standards, UL is an accredited standards developer in the US and Canada. In extending its global public safety mission, UL Standards partners with national standards bodies in countries around the world to build a safer, more sustainable world.
  • United States Council for Automotive Research (USCAR) - USCAR was founded in 1992. Its goal is to further strengthen the technology base of the U.S. auto industry through cooperative research and development. USCAR creates, supports and directs U.S. cooperative research and development to advance automotive technologies. USCAR is composed of a number of specialized groups that focus on specific research areas. These research teams work to accelerate technical development, provide common solutions for the automotive supply base; common specs, provide a critical mass for scaled solutions, amplify our influence among other research organizations, and accomplish what no single company can do alone. These goals are often accomplished through partnerships with various stakeholders including the federal government, educational institutions and suppliers.
